When Kim Kardashian sets a goal, quitting simply isn’t an option.
Case in point: The reality television star’s earnest mission to shed the extra pounds she gained from giving birth to her second child Saint West back in December.
The 35-year-old has long been transparent with fans regarding the ups and downs of weight loss, and Thursday was no different as Kim snapped a jaw-dropping selfie updating her progress.
From her stunning semi-nude photoshoot for GQ to co-starring in Fergie‘s photoshop-free “M.I.L.F. $” music video, the reality star has put her post-baby body on display. And rightfully so, she’s been working out hard and sticking to her strict diet for more than six months.

Kardashian West thanks celeb trainer Gunnar Peterson for helping shed the pounds on top of group classes like Barry’s Bootcamp, SoulCycle and Pilates Plus with her mom and sisters.

In January, the reality star announced that she was following the Atkins 40 plan to lose 70 lbs. after giving birth to her second child in December. In just the first three months, Kardashian West managed to lose 42 lbs. of her baby weight by maintaining a eating plan of proteins, healthy fats and absolutely no sugar, all adding up to 1,800 calories a day. She recently shared a list of her ultimate cheat day meals but assured fans and followers that she hasn’t slipped off her strict Atkins regimen.
